Pen Plotter

As basic as a surface of paper can be, it is where creative choices have the ability to settle down with more clarity. So, despite using advanced algorithms to explore my compositions, I believe that the benefit of this hindsight must return to the original medium, with ink and paper.

The first reason to use a pen-plotter is that the return on paper must be a different creative moment from my usual compositional practice. I do not want to draw myself, or directly intervene in the production of final artworks.

The second reason is the inherent multitude associated with the digital tools involved. Any attempt to extract visual propositions from my deep learning models of composition is confronted with continuity, diversity, and thus infinity. In addition, graphical element dynamics are located in transitions, interpolations and series. Only a machine possesses these intensive drawing abilities.
